Set in the not-too-distant future of 2060 A.D., TIGERSHARK lets you pilot "the ultimate war machine" a TIGERSHARK subfoil prototype. You wage war across 10 huge levels against the vast Russian army, above the remains of a mostly decimated Japan. A series of massive earthquakes have flooded 60% of the once-thriving island nation, and Russia plans on taking control of the area and it's valuable resources and it's up to you to halt their aggression. By destroying the Russian magma taps, you'll effectively cut the Red army's power. In an attempt to bring you down, the Red Menace sends out their sleekest subs, finest battle cruisers, and a phalanx of small combat-ready ships. Fight over the water and under it in intense seafaring skirmishes. After completing your objectives, you'll have to rendezvous with a waiting sub carrier and travel to the next trouble spot where the battle rages anew in an all-out struggle for control of the sea.
